Once it had rebooted, I went back to MSDN, logged in again, and tried the same download (Windows Server 2008 R2). I chose Yes because that dialog should have been asking me to reboot my system and that's what happened. When I chose it from the Add/Remove Software list, I got a dialog box that came up labeled Microsoft Download Manager with 5 lines of littleīoxes instead of text in the middle and Yes or No buttons. Just be certain before writing this reply I went back in and uninstalled the Microsoft Download component.
